Initial Oral Examination

Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, x-rays, periodontal probing (evaluation for gum disease), charting of existing dental work and diagnosis and treatment recommendations for areas of concern. Your x-rays will be taken using a low radiation digital system and will be beneficial in evaluating areas for decayed/abscessed teeth, gum disease, oral cancer and developmental concerns. In some cases where further discussion is required, a follow-up visit may be scheduled to allow you more time with the doctor.

High-Quality Screening X-rays
We provide low radiation, non-invasive panoramic x-rays. All other x-rays are taken with low radiation, digital technology.

Intraoral Camera
Our office provides visual tours of patients' mouth.

Using the latest technology and 3-D scanning; crowns, bridges, and porcelain onlays can be made while you wait. Our office provides the opportunity for single crowns to be made and cemented in our office in just one visit! This procedure is performed by scans taken of your mouth with the latest CAD- CAM Technology. The Scanner we use communicates to our Mill, which will create your crown before your eyes. Once your crown has been milled, it is placed in a furnace that glazes and finalizes your custom fit crown. Once this process is complete, we cement your crown and guess what that means? No more temporaries! However, in some instances, when a tooth is symptomatic, a temporary crown may be placed to monitor symptoms in which case we have the ability to mill a temporary crown in our office as well.

Crowns are synthetic caps, usually made of a material like porcelain, placed on the top of a tooth. Crowns are typically used to restore a tooth's function and appearance. When decay in a tooth has become so advanced that large portions of the tooth must be removed, crowns are often used to restore the tooth. Read More...

Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. Implants are anchored to the jawbone or metal framework on the bone and act as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge. In some cases, implants can be used to attach dentures. Teeth Whitening

Simple toothaches can often be relieved by rinsing the mouth to clear it of debris and other matter. Sometimes, a toothache can be caused or aggravated by a piece of debris lodged between the tooth and another tooth. Avoid placing an aspirin between your tooth and gum to relieve pain, because the dissolving aspirin can actually harm your gum tissue. Read More...
