Chad Conlin, DMD, FAGD

With over a decade of experience, Dr. Chad Conlin has been making a positive impact in the field of dentistry since 2006. Originally practicing in Upstate New York, he relocated to West Michigan in 2012, seeking new opportunities and a vibrant community to serve.

Driven by a unique combination of artistry and scientific curiosity, Dr. Conlin chose dentistry as his career path. His background in fine arts and passion for the sciences meld seamlessly in the dental profession. Dentistry allows him to continually grow in the realm of scientific knowledge while embracing the creative process and honing his skills in meticulous handiwork.

Excellence in Education

Dr. Conlin began his academic pursuits at Olivet Nazarene University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Building upon his foundation, he pursued his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. 

Driven by his desire to continually stay at the forefront of his field, Dr. Conlin completed a General Practice Residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center, further expanding his knowledge and skills. Driven by a personal goal to surpass the standard requirements of continuing education and provide outstanding care to his patients, he pursued a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). This coveted Fellowship, achieved by approximately 6% of practicing dentists, is a testament to his unwavering dedication.

To attain Fellowship status, Dr. Conlin dedicated over 500 hours to advanced training and rigorous examinations, ensuring he remained up-to-date with the latest practices and advancements in dentistry. Furthermore, he actively engages in study groups, embraces digital dentistry, hones his expertise in cosmetic procedures, and has volunteered in clinics for underserved communities. This investment in continuing education distinguishes Dr. Conlin and reflects his commitment to providing exceptional care to his patients.

Outside the Office

When not at work, Dr. Chad Conlin finds joy spending time with his family and his church. Since marrying his sweetheart in 2004, they have built a beautiful family together, blessed with a daughter and a son.

Evenings are often filled with activities and sporting events that create treasured memories together. Outside of these commitments, he loves being in nature, hiking, and bicycling. Also, Dr. Conlin plays guitar in his church’s worship band. 

A Focus on Community

Dr. Conlin and his family are deeply engaged in their local Rockford community. They actively participate in various sports programs, including Rockford Cheer, Rams Hockey, Tennis, and Rockford Little League. Supporting the growth and development of their children, they find fulfillment in cheering them on from the sidelines. Additionally, they are devoted to giving back and contributing to the community through involvement in local initiatives and programs.

Rockford holds a special place in Dr. Conlin's heart, as it captures the essence of a small town with the accessibility and opportunities of city life. The community's friendly and vibrant nature aligns perfectly with his own values and interests. Many of his clients are actively involved in similar community programs, forging deep connections that extend beyond the dentist-patient relationship. In fact, many of his patients have become cherished friends.
